Marine canopy & wetsuit repairs,
St Austell
Wetsuits, drysuits, sails, covers, canopies and marine upholstery, repaired properly in our St Austell workshop and trusted by boat owners, marinas and dive schools across Cornwall.

Marine & Canopies
Repairs to wetsuits, drysuits, dive gear and sailing wear, plus sails, covers, canopies and marine upholstery. Sean made drysuits for commercial divers, where a seam has to hold at depth, so your kit is in properly safe hands.
We work for individual boat owners and for marinas, dive schools and sailing clubs across Cornwall.
Marine repairs by someone who has been under there
Sean is a former commercial diver and welder, so he understands what the marine environment does to kit and why it matters that it holds. He moved from working underwater to manufacturing drysuits on dry land, and the repair side grew out of that.
The work covers repairs, alterations, zip replacements, new seals and re-stitching, across drysuits, wetsuits, sails, covers, canopies, boat seats, webbing and marine textiles generally. A seam on a drysuit is not a cosmetic job — it either holds at depth or it does not — and everything here is done to that standard.
Boat seating and cabin upholstery often comes in alongside canopy work; that side is covered on our upholstery and soft furnishings page. If you need something made from scratch rather than repaired, see design and manufacture.

Questions we get asked
Can you repair a torn wetsuit or leaking drysuit?
Yes. Tears, seams, zips and seals on wetsuits and drysuits are bread and butter here, done to a standard where the seam has to hold, not just look tidy.
Do you repair boat canopies and covers, or only make new ones?
Both. Most canopy jobs are repairs: re-stitching seams, replacing panels, windows and zips. If it's past saving we'll tell you straight.
Do you work with marinas, dive schools and sailing clubs?
Yes, we handle trade work for marinas, dive schools and sailing clubs across Cornwall as well as individual boat owners.
