Things we've actually made
Thirty years in the textile trade, working with multinationals, small businesses and individuals. A sample of what has come through the workshop:
- Money bags for bus companies.
- A specialised marine product that is now distributed worldwide.
- A waterproof cover and case for a prosthetic leg — the dry boot in the photograph.
- Heat-deflecting equipment covers.
- A bespoke cover for a vintage steam roller.
- A hot tub cover, an awning, a marquee and a mayoral chain.
- Cushion covers made from retired fire service uniforms.
- And, once, a dinosaur.
If it is just an idea, a product that needs improving, or a complete redesign, we would like to work on it. Prototype or production run, the process is the same: talk it through, agree the spec and the fabric, then make it.
Some of this work overlaps with our marine and canopy work and our upholstery and soft furnishings. If you are not sure which one your job is, ring the workshop and we will tell you straight.

I don't have a pattern, just an idea. Can you still make it?
Yes. Bring the idea, a sketch or the thing you want copied and we'll design it, pattern it and make it.
Can you copy or improve something I already have?
Yes, copying an existing item in better fabric or with fixes is common work here.
Do you do short production runs as well as one-offs?
Yes, we take on short runs for businesses as well as single pieces.
How is a made-from-scratch job priced?
We'll talk the job through, agree the spec and fabric, and give you a straight price before anything is cut.
